A wonderful discovery. The setting is magnificent. The meal was excellent, and the welcome and service were refined and friendly. A truly lovely evening. I hope to be able to try the hotel again soon.

A wonderful atmosphere in the small room by the fireplace. A warm welcome and professional, attentive, and discreet staff. A very good meal with friends for a wedding anniversary. We were delighted and will be back.

We booked a table at the restaurant for the evening, drawn in by the concept of sharing plates paired with a good bottle of wine. We were delighted by this discovery: the egg meurette and the egg with Époisses cheese were perfect, the sharing plates were sublime, and the wine advice from a dynamic and attentive sommelier was incredible. Thank you for this wonderful evening! 🤩

Only the restaurant. I can only say exceptional and wonderful. From the welcome to the food and wines. The eggs in meurette were impressive, the sauce was amazing, and the guinea fowl was a fine piece of cooking and original on the plate.
Perhaps it only lacks a warmer, more intimate atmosphere.

We did not stay at the hotel, but had one dinner here during our trip to burgundy. The restaurant staff were all super nice and helpful. Perhaps it was our fault for not choosing the pre fixe menu, but the food was below expectations. I had the quenelle de brochet, and though beautifully plated, was tough and rubbery. It tasted very bland and as tho it had been made hours earlier and then slightly reheated before serving. I’ve had much better versions at bistros. I would have sent it back, but it was so small, I ate it in two bites.

We started our bikepacking tour here. Very friendly service, great room. We felt welcome. The dinner could have been better.
Breakfast was excellent.
The location and the house itself are truly beautiful. We would come back anytime.

Disappointing experience. The staff is unfriendly, and the buffet selection lacks variety and originality. The value for money is not there. When we ask for information about a dish, we are not given a clear answer.

- A classic buffet, without research, without flavor, without effort at presentation…
- A hot dish, with no alternatives, nonetheless good…
- A departure as cold as the arrival…
You get a brunch at the Castel de Très-Girard for 60 euros per person🥵🥵.
We won't be doing it again…

This is the third time we've been tempted by the Sunday brunch, and we've been disappointed.
We're far from the high-end service you promise on your website. We were disappointed by the variety of savory items (no mixed salad, the scrambled eggs weren't refilled). The cold cuts and salmon are good, but not up to the brunch price, which has increased, even though, in my opinion, the quality hasn't.
We called a server to order hot dishes, and he replied, "Wait, I'll finish what I'm making." We're still waiting for him to come back to us!
When serving ice cream, the waitress uses her fingers to serve the scoops. In terms of conviviality, it's far from what you promise. The sweet tarts are cut so thin that it's difficult to serve, and the custard has to be served with a large spoon (not very practical).
We were charged for still water, even though the server didn't tell us it wasn't included in the €60 (unlike at another high-end brunch in Dijon).

Constant noise like a broken air conditioning unit couldn’t be fixed or stopped. A terrible hotel with terrible rooms and no sleep and no one around to help.

Enjoy a charcuterie and cheese platter to share with friends in a modern yet authentic setting.
The service is impeccable, and the wait staff is attentive (a special mention goes to our Quebecois waitress).
Even Blanquette came to greet us; the kids loved it.

We came to Sunday brunch. No air conditioning, we ate in a heat close to discomfort. In addition, the different choices for brunch are left in the heat (no refrigerated area), rather shocking content of shellfish, cream cakes, mayonnaise and dish in sauce. The response of the staff to this problem: we take the dishes back to put them in the refrigerator regularly! The dishes are not covered so a lot of flies on them! A brunch at 60 euros to end up eating the least risky dishes and which still earned me to spend my evening on the toilet! To offer brunch you need appropriate equipment, for brunch go your way if you do not want health problems for an establishment of this quality!

In the heart of Morey St. Denis a corner of paradise. The hotel has only 8 rooms, so it is not easy to find a place. Everything is very clean with attention to detail. The pool is small but adequate for the structure, a real gem for a moment of relaxation on hot summer days. The rooms are welcoming and quiet, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom spacious, everything very clean. The staff is really kind and attentive, after checking out I forgot some money and keys in the safe, as soon as they called (after about 4 hours) they went to the room to check and I recovered everything. The delicious breakfast. The perfect location for visiting the Cote D'Or. Internal parking.

We had a wonderful time last Sunday for our daughter's birthday. There were a lot of us, and the Castel kindly offered us the private room. Everything was perfect, the staff is welcoming and helpful, and the quality of the brunch is exceptional... I highly recommend it...

We made reservations for Sunday brunch.
Very wide variety of products offered in a pleasant setting (on the terrace at the end of brunch to enjoy the sun).
Seafood is a plus!

Lovely country hotel located in the middle of the top wine-yards. Rooms spacious with big bathrooms . Amazing breakfast with everything you can ask for ( and even more ), lovely restaurant with huge wine list . Pool and garden and safe parking - fair priced

It was a delightful experience when we visited Castel for a luncheon. The weather was pleasant, and we were able to enjoy the outdoor seating with a view of the Castel garden.
The cuisine was exceptional. We shared several dishes, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend the beef tartare and the tomahawk grilled steak.
Castel is a beautiful location for a business retreat or vacation.

This Castel is a must stay. You are in the heart of the wine vineyards. Our room overlooked the rolling vineyards and was peaceful. An outdoor patio and pool space was a great extra perk to soak in afternoon views. Our room was clean, freshly modern and had a comfortable bed. While we only stayed here one night we wished we had booked another night. We dined at the hotel restaurant which was wonderful. Staff is very attentive.

We had lunch in the restaurant. Perfect good, very considerate service, and brilliant atmosphere. We weren’t very hungry so we got one main course for two people, and the chef just took the extra effort to divide the dish into two portions for us. That’s quite remarkable.
